Spring is just around the corner and there are a lot of fresh things happening at Eventus! But before we hop ahead, we wanted to share what we’ve been up to lately.

At our Riverside space we hosted YouTube Avenues, an exclusive event for YouTube’s content creators. It was very exciting to partner with a large company like YouTube! We worked with them to utilize the space in a unique way that leveraged technology. Working with AVL Creative, we added amazing LED video walls to the space. YouTube also brought in several filming sets for guests to test out making video shorts in, and the presentation was live streamed in other rooms in the space for guest overflow.

We were honored to sponsor and host an event for the non-profit organization Beyond Basics at our Riverside space. Beyond Basics works to achieve literacy for everyone, transforming the lives of students and creating stronger communities through an intensive tutoring program that helps students achieve grade-level movement and beyond in reading.
Ground broke on our second space at 211 W. Fort Street! Located in the heart of Detroit this space boasts floor to ceiling windows, views of downtown Detroit, refinished concrete floors, and Industrial finishes. As we go into 2023, we will continue to make improvements in the space and look forward to hosting events there in the months to come!

E3 Detroit recorded one of their bands, Free Lance, in the Riverside space. We love seeing how versatile the space can be! E3 Detroit is an events and entertainment company specializing in weddings, corporate events, and manages a handful of bands as well.
We attended the National Association of Catering and Events (NACE) Holiday party! The event brought together individuals from NACE and the International Live Events Association (ILEA) to celebrate both organizations 2022 accomplishments. Eventus founder, Kalie Zerbst, sat on the board of NACE in 2022 and was proud to play a role in bringing the event to life.
Ross Lindhout joined the Eventus Team! Ross will be joining the team as a Marketing Specialist. A Grand Rapids native, Ross attended Grand Valley State University and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Since 2019, Ross has been honing in on his marketing skills and currently holds a full-time marketing position with Troy, MI based business advisory firm Rehmann. Ross has always had an interest and passion in the events industry and looks forward to expanding on that passion with his new role at Eventus.
You can now find the Riverside listed on The Knot and Wedding Wire!
Thank you to all the Eventus partners and clients who made 2022 a year to remember. Continue to follow along with us as we go into spring!
